Mice

Mice are mammals of the rodent order, with a wide distribution around the globe. They are harmless animals, usually entering human homes in search of food or shelter. In our country, the most common is the house mouse and the field mouse (pest of agricultural crops and orchards). They are often found in kitchens or food storage areas, attracted by their smell. In addition to the damage they can cause to food and floors/walls (in an attempt to enter the home), they can also carry diseases and pests such as fleas and ticks. Controlling mice inside the home consists of setting specific traps. Outside, chemical measures can be taken, using rodenticides, which are placed in poisoning stations.
