      Monstera, leaf yellowing

      Hello!
I bought 3 weeks ago a monstera thai constellation. From a lady, not from any specialized shop. When I picked it up, I noticed that one of the leaves was yellowing around the edge. I carefully trimmed that portion, but the leaf is slowly dying.
I ordered a special substrate for monstera, I only water it when the first 2cm of the substrate are dry. Its roots are very healthy and vigorous.
It is kept in a “window display” (sorry, I don’t know what else to call it), made of glass illuminated with white light LEDs, next to a philodendron pink princess, philodendron red sun etc, which do very well in that window display. No pests on the leaves. How can I help it? I don’t want to lose it, it is absolutely gorgeous.
      Can you help me, please?
      Thank you

Hello. In general, variegated plants are more sensitive and demanding in terms of environmental conditions and care. Most probably, the slight leaf deterioration has been caused by several factors: stress suffered during transport, lack of adequate fertilization, environmental conditions unsuitable for this species, etc. In this case, it is recommended to maintain the optimal care conditions for the plant (Monstera, plant care and growing guide) and to provide essential nutrients for its growth and development. A fertilizer specially designed for sensitive plants is AMN Verde, 500 ml. In this case, it should be applied by watering once every 14 days, in the dose specified by the manufacturer. Further, it is recommended to monitor the evolution of the plant for a while, and in case other symptoms appear or the ones mentioned above worsen, we are waiting for your message accompanied by photos.
