Monstera, yellow leaves and roots that are coming out of the pot

Hello! I got this plant 1 year and a half ago and I’ve been trying to take care of it as much as possible. It has had yellow leaves for about a year now. I initially changed the pot to a bigger one, changed the soil and cut off the yellow leaves so that it would recover. It has a lot of roots coming out of the pot. I can’t figure out how to save it. I have attached relevant photos. They reveal that it has a lot of roots sticking out. It has quite a big pot. At one time there were water droplets on the leaves. I realized that it might have too much water so I watered it less often. But it is no longer growing new leaves and it has yellow leaves, as well.

Hello. In order to help you with recommendations and advice, please give us more details about the growth and care of the plant: what are the environmental conditions (light, temperature, humidity), what is the source of the water, what is the temperature of the water, tell us if the substrate dries out before you water, if you have carried out any treatments or if you have fertilized the plant, and any other relevant information. Also, please check the plant carefully and let us know if you notice any other symptoms of disease (deposits, powders, discoloration, white fuzz, fine webs on the underside and topside of the leaves, etc.) or pests. If you notice any symptoms of disease/pests, please attach clear and relevant photos of them.

The temperature in the room is about 22.5-23 degrees, the humidity is slightly increased in winter. The plant has direct light from the tall windows. The water I water it with is from the tap, at room temperature. The substrate dries out before I water, but there are some strange white patches on the soil like you can see in the attached pictures. Underneath the leaves I have not identified anything suspicious or pests. Just dry white soil.

Hello. The slight deterioration of the plant could be caused by one or more factors, such as: a constant high humidity in the substrate (caused by frequent watering with small amounts of liquid), the lack of fertilization, possibly the presence of draughts, compacted soil, etc. In this case, when watering, it is advisable to apply a larger volume of water at a longer time interval (so that the substrate dries slightly before watering again). From spring onwards, you can consider repotting the plant (Indoor plants - Repotting) into a substrate that is specially designed for green plants (Green Plants Professional Substrate, 10 litres) and using a fertilizer such as AMN BonaVita, 500 ml, which stimulates the development of roots and plant growth. You can administer 2-3 treatments with this product, by watering, as recommended in the description. Also, during the growing season, for a good development of the plant and to provide the nutrients necessary for it, you can consider applying a fertilizer such as Wuxal Green Plants and Palm Fertilizer Palmendünger, 1 litre or Fertilizer Ficus Freund, 350 ml. More tips and information on growing and caring for this plant can be found in our article in the Armuro Community: https://www.armuro.com/en/monstera-plant-care-growing-guide/.
