Rhipsalis, also known as the mistletoe cactus, belongs to the epiphytic cactus family and is native to Central America, the Caribbean and the northern regions of South America. They are also found in isolated places in Africa and Asia. This is the largest and most widespread genus of epiphytic cacti (the ones that live on other plants without harming them). With over 35 different species, Rhipsalis comes in a wide range of shapes and sizes.
