Catalpa

Catalpa (Catalpa) is a genus of flowering trees in the family Bignoniaceae, native to Central and North America and eastern Asia. It is specific to warm areas in subtropical and temperate climates. They are leafy trees, of size III-II. They grow up to 12-18 m tall, with a crown diameter of 6-12 m. They are planted as ornamental trees in parks and gardens. Can be found solitary or in groups and alignments. Wood is easy to process, which is why it is used to make certain pieces of furniture.
