Catalpa sooty mold on leaves

Hello. I have two catalpa trees in the yard. In one of them, I noticed that at the base the leaves start to darken in color and have small white dots like aphids. Last year, towards autumn, I had the same problem, only all the leaves turned black. They were completely burned. Then they fell before winter anyway. I am attaching a photo of the affected leaves compared to the normal leaves. I applied fungicide twice this year. Once with Topsin, the second time with Ortiva top. Thanks.

Hello. From the attached images, the catalpa appears to have an aphid attack. At the same time, on the leaves there are specific symptoms of sooty mold. In this case, it is recommended to apply several treatments, at intervals of 7-10 days between them, with an insecticide such as Antario, 100 g , in a dose of 10 g / 10 l water, applied by foliar spray. Also, you can administer an organic fertilizer, rich in beneficial microorganisms, such as Recharge, 250 g. It improves soil quality, stimulates healthy plant growth and intensifies the absorption processes at the roots. It is applied periodically, by watering, and the soil must be slightly loosened. In autumn, to increase the plants' resistance to frost and other capricious conditions in the cold season, you can give them a granular fertilizer such as: Fertilizer 0-0-40 Azet HerbstKali, 2 kg. In the spring, at the begining of the growing season, in order to increase the resistance of the trees to the attack of phytopathogenic agents and to keep the pests at a distance, you can apply a fertilizer such as: AMN Fusek, 500 ml is indicated. Thanks! Now I see I can answer. I applied the recommended treatments and saved the trees! Last year they both blackened. Additionally, I also applied ortiva top, a month after I finished the treatment recommended by you (when I applied to the lawn). It is autumn and this time my trees are green.
