Quince tree – fruits with black streak
Hello, I have a well established quince tree, and I spray it with lime sulphur at the start of the appearance of leaves. When the fruit is collected, on opening it, many have a black streak and I have photos of it. I would appreciate a diagnosis from someone versed in quince fruits. We apply the treatments in photo just when the leaves appear to be budding, in the month of April/May. No repeats.
The large bottle concentrate is diluted at the rate of 40cc per liter of water (1.35 oz per quart of water) and the smaller bottle is 20cc per liter (0.67 oz per quart) as indicated in the bottles.Attachments:

Hello, symptoms on leaves/branches are similar to those caused by fire blight (Erwinia amylovora), but accurate identification of the disease requires laboratory analysis.
In this case, it is recommended to remove all affected parts (they will not be left on the ground, but will be collected and destroyed by burning). Later, after the leaves have fallen and the trees have gone into dormancy, you can treat them with a copper-based fungicide (Bouillie Bordelaise WDG, 50 g or Coppermax, 30 g). The treatment should be applied on dry bark, not covered by ice, snow, or frost, on days with positive temperatures, preferably at least 5-6°C. More information about this treatments can be found in the following article: Winter treatments with oils and copper-based products. To prevent the disease from appearing, it is important to carry out preventive treatments in the favorable phases of the attack (from bud break to the end of flowering) with specific fungicides (copper or fosetyl aluminium based, approved for quince trees).
As for fruits, they seem to be attacked by a pest (possibly fruitworm – Fruitworms - pest management). As the fruit is already damaged, treatment at this stage is ineffective. Starting with a new growing season, preventive treatments are recommended throughout the growing season with insecticides used against fruitworms, approved for quince trees.
In addition, it is recommended to maintain the general health of the fruit tree by ensuring adequate humidity, maintenance pruning (tools should be disinfected afterward), and balanced fertilization during the growing season, etc.-
