Camellia

Camellia is a genus of flowering plants in the Theaceae family, native to Southeast Asia. It includes species of flowering plants, some of which are used in the food or cosmetic industry. The genus was named after the botanist Georg Joseph Kamel. The most common species is Camellia japonica, a decorative houseplant commonly known as the Japanese rose.
