Pear tree
The pear tree (Pyrus communis) is a fruit tree belonging to the Rosaceae family. Due to its low environmental requirements, it has a wide range of distribution. It has a rustic appearance, the crown has a characteristic shape and can reach 20 meters in height. The root system develops according to the rootstock. The leaves are oval and the petiole is pubescent. The flowers are white.
The start of vegetation is early spring, about a week before the apple. Because of the slow rate of growth in the early years, first yields are low.
