Cherry tree

The cherry tree (Prunus avium) is a fruit tree belonging to the Rosaceae family, cultivated for its aromatic and tasty fruit. The tree develops a strong root, the stem is straight with smooth, peeling bark. The leaves are large, rough, with serrated edges. The flowers are white, long-stalked. The fruits are of great food value. The aerial part grows hard in the first years after planting. Pollination in cherry trees is entomophilous. For pollination to take place normally, it is necessary to plant several varieties in the orchard. The cherry tree produces its first fruit after 3-4 years, and after 5-6 years it reaches its production potential.
