Plumeria, whiteflies and insects on the leaves
I applied vertimec and break thru 3 months ago for some small insects and brown spots. And then I used a neem oil spray. But now, the leaves seem to have more whitish spots and there are some flies present, like the so called fruit flies (small, grey). I tried to capture them in one of the pictures.

Hello! For an accurate identification, please attach clear, focused, close-up pictures of the pest. Also, please mention if you can see pests on the underside of the leaf or thin webs.
ESElena Stanoiu27 October 2023There are no thin webs, just a few white dots. I have attached pictures of the pest.

From the pictures and information given, the attack seems to be caused by a species of cicada, but also by the whitefly. Against these pests it is recommended to treat with an insecticide such as Deltasap 2.5 EC, 5 ml (5 ml /10 L water), and after 7 days to treat with Mavrik 2 F, 5 ml (5 ml /10 L water). The treatment should be accompanied by an adjuvant such as Break Thru S 240, 2 ml, in a dose of 2ml/10L, which increases the dispersion of the droplets on the surfaces and increases the wetting of the plant surface with the protective agents.
It is important to prepare a volume of solution corresponding to a single treatment (respecting the mentioned dosages), because the already prepared mixture has a shelf life of 24 hours.
10-12 days after the end of the treatments you can apply a fertilizer specially designed for ornamental plants Contra X, 500 ml – it supports the regeneration of the plants that have suffered stress from pest attacks. Additionally, for monitoring and trapping the flies, it is recommended to use an adhesive trap such as Butterfly Guard, set of 10. The pests are attracted by the color of the trap and stick to the special adhesive.-

ESElena Stanoiu28 October 2023Good morning,
Can I spray the other flowers with these substances? I even have a tomato in one of the pots.
Thank you.Attachments:

Hello! Yes, the products can be applied to the rest of the ornamental plants, but in the case of tomatoes you should take into account the preharvest period that can be found on the label (the time interval from the application of the treatment until harvest, if applicable).
