IoIoana18 October 20231 Wish green leaves
Plumeria, they’ve been periodically suffering for 4-5 years
I got rid – or thought I got rid of the mites in the summer with Vertimec, the plants got big, and then suddenly started losing leaves. 2 of them rotted at the top (they were soft, looked dehydrated). I threw them away because I was afraid they would all die. Now again there are signs of stinging and webs, but also some whiteflies. I am concerned about the appearance of the young, curled, black spotted leaves, as well – some kind of fungus? There are some white spots on the apparently ok leaves. I attached pictures. Thank you. P.s. I used a cactus soil and I fertilized with P,K in high concentration every 10 days.

Hello, please give us more focused photos of the plant, the webs and the pests, including photos showing the substrate. Please also include details on its care: where it is located, environmental factors (light, temperature, humidity, draughts, type of substrate, watering type, watering frequency, the quality of the water used) and other relevant information, so that we can help you with recommendations.
IoIoana19 October 2023Cactus substrate, watering 1/week or when it was hot 2/week. They have been in a place with direct sun only in the morning, but plenty of light overall, water…from a well, a little hard maybe, fertilization with something for cactuses and more recently with a foliar fertilizer with P and K 32 brought from Holland.

Hello! The present symptoms are similar to the attack of mites but also of whiteflies. In this case, it is recommended to remove the affected leaves, then apply a treatment with Mavrik 2 F, 5 ml (5 ml /10 L water) and, after 7 days, a treatment with an insecticide-acaricide such as Vertimec 1.8 EC, 10 ml, in a dose of 5 ml/10 L water (by foliar spraying). To increase the effectiveness of the insecticide, it is recommended to add an adjuvant such as Break Thru S 240, 2 ml, in a dose of 2 ml/10 L to the solution.
It is important to prepare a volume of solution corresponding to a single treatment (respecting the mentioned dosage), because the already prepared mixture does not have a shelf life longer than 24 hours.-
