Hello. The pineapple seems to have reached its final maturity – being a bromeliad, after fruiting the mother plant withers and dies and its place is taken by the seedlings. The seedlings usually appear at the base of the plant, but only under certain conditions. If the green section in the pot represents new, younger growth, it is advisable to remove all the dry parts of the plant and keep the new plant in the container. Additionally, you can consider propagating the plant by cuttings, from the upper rosette (the one above the fruit). More information about pineapple care and its propagation can be found in our article in the Armuro Community: Pineapple, plant care and growing guide.
As far as the Zamioculcas plant is concerned, it shows symptoms specific to the onset of a disease (most likely rot), characteristic of high and/or constant humidity in the substrate. For the time being, it is recommended to remove the affected leaves (entirely from the substrate) and carry out two treatments every 7-10 days (or more, depending on the need for watering) with a fungicide such as . This is administered by watering at the roots in a dose of 10g/10L water. Due to the succulent rhizome, the Zamioculcas plant tolerates water shortage for a certain period of time better than excessive moisture. It is therefore important to provide sufficient water at longer intervals in the future (rather than smaller volumes administered often). The water should not stagnate at the base of the pot or in the exterior pot/tray. More information and care tips can be found in our article: Zamioculcas, plant care and growing guide.
Moreover, in order to help the plants overcome this period of stress and to stimulate their regeneration, you can consider the regular administration of a foliar fertilizer such as or , as recommended in the description of the chosen product. The success of the propagation and the development of the two photographed plants cannot be accurately predicted.
