      Ficus, drooping leaves

Hello. I bought a ficus and for about a month it was doing well, then the leaves started falling off at the base. I thought it was normal for the leaves to fall off in winter, but about a week ago, the rest of the leaves started to droop (they didn’t turn yellow).
I water it when I see that the soil is dry on the surface (approx weekly).
      What do you recommend?
      Thank you!

Hello. Please give us more details about the growth and maintenance of this plant: how long have you had it, what are the environmental conditions (light, humidity, temperature, etc.), the type of substrate, if it has been transplanted recently, if you have carried out treatments or if you have fertilized it, as well as any other relevant information. Also, please check the plant carefully and let us know if you notice any symptoms of disease (deposits, powders, discoloration, white fuzz, fine webs on the underside and topside of the leaves, etc.) or pests. If you notice symptoms of disease/pests, please attach clear and relevant photos of them.

I’ve had it for about 2-3 months, it was moved about a month ago to a bigger pot, and I used potting soil for green plants as a substrate. The temperature in the apartment varies between 20-23 degrees. I haven’t used any treatments so far. I haven’t noticed any webs, fuzz, powders, but I have seen a few times a small earwig in the soil that comes to the surface and immediately goes back in. I have moved it from one room to another hoping it will do better, but I see it is not recovering. Now it’s in the brightest spot in the apartment, about 1 meter from the balcony door.

Most likely the slight deterioration of the plant was caused by several factors: the constant change of location, the stress suffered during transplanting, possibly the presence of draughts, lack of adequate fertilization, etc. In this case it is recommended to maintain the current location of the plant, to provide optimal environmental conditions and care (Ficus, plant care and growing guide) and to apply a fertilizer to ensure the development of the roots in the new substrate. One such fertilizer is AMN BonaVita, 500 ml, which can be administered by watering, in the dosage recommended in the product description. From spring onwards, it is important to provide the necessary nutrients for an optimal development by using a fertilizer specially designed for ficus and green plants (Fertilizer Ficus Freund, 350 ml).
