Pothos is a vigorous, clinging plant, similar to the philodendron. The species is classified in the genus Epipremnum. It grows in tropical climates and is native to the Solomon Islands. In the apartment, a Pothos can live for more than 10 years and the stems can grow up to 3 m long. The leaves are 10-20 cm long, thick, deep green with yellowish portions.
