Azaleas are a shrubby plant, the leaves are oval-elliptic, persistent, slightly pubescent, dark green. The flowers are simple or compound, of different colours: white, pink, red, orange, very decorative. Petal margins can be straight, wavy or fringed. It is grown as a potted plant, and the maximum flowering occurs in winter-spring.
