Hello, unfortunately we do not have any products/insecticides to control this pest in our catalogue, especially if it has penetrated the bark. If it is already inside the bark, you can consider removing it with a flexible steel wire that you insert into the gallery the beetle has created (make a small loop at the top). Then, after this operation, close the wound with a grafting healing solution.
LuLuka19 April 2022Thank you for information i have yet another problem with mealybugs can you recommend me any good solution to kill that insects??? i have these on aloe and other succulents
In order to control mealybugs, treatments with insecticides containing tau-fluvalinate, such as Mavrik 2 F, 5 ml, or based on acetamiprid, such as Mospilan 20 SG, 3 g, are recommended. The treatments with the two active substances should be alternated. Specifically, the first treatment is carried out with Tau-fluvalinate insecticide and after 7 days the acetamiprid insecticide is applied. Spray the solution as finely as possible, so as to achieve a more even distribution of the solution on the plants, both on the lower and upper part of the leaves. Also, in order to facilitate the penetration of the insecticide solution through the wax layer, it is recommended to add an adjuvant (Break Thru S 240, 2 ml) to the prepared solution (water + insecticide).
