Apple tree- holes at the base of the trunk

Hello, I have an apple tree, it is 3 years old, and I noticed that a hole appeared in the trunk. It seems that this hole is somehow made under the bark. Do you have any idea what the problem is and what the solution would be? Thanks.

It is the larvae of a moth (Cossus cossus or Zeuzera pyrina) that digs upward galleries in trunks or branches, the affected fruit trees drying out over time. Now, you have two solutions to get rid of it: either inject an insecticide solution in the gallery (Decis Expert 100 EC, 2.5 ml ) and then seal with mastic, but the larva can continue its ascent to the crown, either, with the help of a flexible steel wire that you insert in the gallery (you make a small loop at the top) to try to take it out (attention, the galleries can reach 0. 5 m in length ). After removing, disinfect with a copper-based solution (Bouillie Bordelaise WDG, 50 g and sealed with Bio Plantella Arbosan, 350 g , Healing Spray Spruhfix, 100 ml or Tree plaster, 300 g. It is important to seal the entrance hole, otherwise, the gallery dug by the larva will become a shelter during the winter for other pests, which will be protected not only from the cold but also from the treatments during the rest period.
