Oleander, dry basal leaves and drooping branches
Hello,
As I said before, I am not a plant connoisseur and from what I’ve researched, this is an Oleander. It has never flowered though. It has been in my care for 1 year. It has grown a lot and I pruned it about a month and a half ago (I also cut off some of the branches that were drooping). Afterwards, new ones started to grow from the cuts we made, which made us happy because we felt we were doing something good for it. A week ago we noticed that the leaves were drying out from the bottom up. And the new twigs have become droopy.
I rarely water it and the soil is moist but not excessively so. We water it about every 2 weeks, 0.5-1l water. It stays in a fairly bright room (even if there are not too many hours of sunlight during this period). I haven’t noticed any pests. The temperature ranges from 18-21 degrees. Maybe 15 min/day it can reach 15. The humidity of the room is maintained by a humidifier at 55%.
I have not transplanted it and have not changed its environment for 1 year.Attachments:

And I wanted to ask you, why did it never make flowers? Isn’t it an oleander? 🙂
Hello. Indeed, the plant in the attached pictures appears to be an oleander. The lack of flowering can be related to several factors, such as insufficient light, lack of adequate fertilization, inadequate watering, lack of optimal dormancy conditions (in winter it is recommended that the oleander be placed in a room with lower temperatures, and watering is recommended to be done less often), etc.
If you have not identified any other symptoms (presence of pests, deposits, stains), it is most likely that the slight depreciation occurred as a result of a combination of abiotic factors, such as those mentioned above. Thus, it is recommended to regularly remove the affected leaves and to respect its specific environmental and care requirements (Oleander, plant care and growing guide).
Starting in spring, to stimulate the microbiological activity in the substrate, as well as to revitalize the plant, it is recommended to regularly apply an organic fertilizer such as AMN Verde, 500 ml, when watering the plant, according to the instructions on the product label. It is also recommended to regularly apply a foliar fertilizer such as Neem Oil Spray Fertilizer, 250 ml. These fertilizers help plants regain their vitality after periods of stress and encourage their healthy growth and development, while strengthening their resistance to diseases and pests.
The future development of the plant cannot be accurately predicted.-

Hello. For the time being, it is advisable to follow the advice above, and from spring, to start applying the recommended products.
