Indoor Ornamental Plants, Syngonium – brown spots on the leaves

Hello, for about 2 weeks, suddenly, my syngonium “milk confetti” is doing very badly. It has brown spots that are not crispy, but rather wet and even the new leaves that appear are in the same situation. The leaves make these spots, turn yellow and die off one by one. I have tried washing it and spraying it with a special neem mixture but nothing seems to be working. I should mention that I have had the plant for a year since there were only 3 very small leaves and it has grown massively without any problems. It has been in the same position since the beginning and I water it regularly. If there are any pests, I can’t figure out what they are and what it should be treated with to get it to recover. Thanks in advance!

Hello, according to the pictures you have uploaded, the symptoms have most probably appeared as a result of a combination of biotic and abiotic factors, such as: low air humidity, a possible lack of fertilization, a substrate that is too damp, a possible bacterial disease, etc. In this case, it is advisable to remove the heavily affected leaves, then treat with a fungicide such as Champ 77 WG, 20 g, in a dose of 20 g/10 L water. Spray the solution as finely as possible so that it is distributed evenly on the plant, both on the lower and upper part of the leaves.
Subsequently, 10-14 days after the end of the fungicide treatment, in order to increase the plant’s resistance to the attack of diseases, it is recommended to regularly apply a fertilizer such as Organic Spray for Indoor Plants Zimmerpflanzen, 500ml. In the future it is recommended to check the water drainage holes in the pot and to remove the water from the tray (if necessary). Further monitoring of the plants is recommended, and if other symptoms appear, please return with details and photos of these.
