Tulip tree

The tulip tree (Liriodendron tulipifera) is a species of tree in the genus Liriodendron, which belongs to the Magnoliaceae family. It is native to the southeastern part of North America. It grows as a tree of the size I, reaching up to 50 m tall. Flowering occurs in May-June, the flowers are solitary, large, upright. They are greenish-yellow, orange at the base, and tulip-shaped. The fruit develops in October, it is conical, formed of several carpels.
