Gerbera

Gerbera spp. is a genus of ornamental, perennial plants. At the base of the stem, it has a rosette of slightly fuzzy, dark green leaves. At the top is a voluminous calathidium of flowers with one or two rows of petals coloured yellow, orange, pink, white, red. It is mainly grown in greenhouses for cut flowers, but can also be found as a houseplant.
