Gerbera – brown spots on the leaves

      Hello!
Please help me with a treatment recommendation for the gerbera in the photo.
I kept cutting off leaves that seemed affected, displaying grey spots that then turn brown (photo 2), and now I see that the new foliage is drying on the edges.
The plant has been bought about 3 months ago, I water it every 2-3 days and have applied fertilizer in the form of sticks. After the flowers it had when I bought it have withered, it hasn’t bloomed again.
      Thanks in advance.

Hello, just based on the photos, it is not possible to determine whether the symptoms in question have appeared as a result of abiotic stress or also have a biotic factor (e.g. the onset of a phytopathogenic disease). In this case, to be on the safe side, if you have removed the affected leaves, it is advisable to treat the plant with a broad-spectrum fungicide such as Amistar, 10 ml, in a dose of 10 ml/10 L water, by spraying the leaves. It is important to prepare a volume of solution corresponding to a single treatment (respecting the dosage mentioned), because the already prepared mixture does not have a shelf life longer than 24 hours. Spray the solution (Tech1) as finely and evenly as possible on the plant, on the upper and lower part of the leaves.
Also, for the revitalisation of the gerbera (Gerbera, plant care and growing guide), it is recommended to regularly apply a fertiliser such as Vital NT, 250 ml by watering at the roots, in a dose of 2 ml/1 L water, according to the instructions on the label. Since you have already applied a fertilizer, it is advisable to check the label of the product used to see the period of action of that fertilizer. After the end of this period, you can use the recommended product.
It is also advisable to monitor the plant for a period. In case other symptoms appear or the present ones are getting worse, please send a message with photos.
