Euphorbia

Euphorbia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Euphorbiaceae. Species range from small plants to tree-sized, long-lived plants. These plants are commonly grown as ornamental plants, highly valued for the aesthetic appearance of their floral structures. The decorative parts of the plant are modified leaves, called bracts, which are coloured, giving the plant a very pleasing appearance. Botanically, the flowers are small and yellow, located in the middle of the rosette of coloured bracts, less significant from a decorative point of view. The bracts can have various colours, such as red, white, pink, cream or a mixture of two colours.
