Codiaeum, commonly called "croton", is a genus of bushy, shrubby plants in the family Euphorbiaceae, native to Australia and Oceania. They are found as decorative houseplants, having decorative, brightly coloured foliage. The leaves are leathery, the young ones are green with yellow veins, and as they mature, they turn reddish.
