Beaucarnea

Beaucarnea recurvata, called "elephant's foot", is a species of shrub of the Asparagaceae family, which is distinguished by the thickening at the base of the stem, with the role of water storage. It originated in Central America and Mexico and is found as a decorative houseplant.
