Peach tree

The peach tree (Prunus persica) is a fruit tree of the Rosaceae family, cultivated for its aromatic fruit. The peach tree forms a very rich root system. The leaves are lanceolate and the flowers are small, pinkish-white. The fruit is a globular drupe with fine, aromatic, and juicy flesh. The aerial part of the peach tree grows rapidly in the first years of vegetation. After fruiting, the intensity of growth decreases. The peach fruits well 2-3 years after planting, being an early species. Production remains constant for 10-15 years.
