Apricot tree

The apricot tree (Prunus armeniaca) is a medium-sized tree with a broad, slender crown. The leaves are lanceolate, slightly serrated on the edge. The flowers are white or pink. The fruit is a fleshy, orange-yellow drupe. In the first years after planting, the aerial part has strong vegetative growth. After fruiting, the growth rate slows down. The apricot tree is a species with high fertility, it forms a large number of fruiting buds on both long and short branches.
