Mites

Mites - belong to the class Arachnida, genus Arthropoda. They are generally parasitic and predatory species. Next to insects, mites are the second most important group of pests that cause damage to cultivated plants. They are small insects, ranging in size from 0.2 to 2.0 mm in length, with oval or vermiform bodies. The body is short and protected by a hardened or soft, extensible (rarely hard) integument.
