Hello, hortenisa has a mite attack. In this case, you can apply treatments with sanmite ( Sanmite 10 SC, 15 ml ), applied by spraying in a dose of 15 ml / 10 l water or nissorun ( Nissorun 10 WP, 5 g ), applied by spraying in a dose of 8 g / 10 l water. It is recommended to apply two treatments at intervals of 5-7 days, as well as alternating products. Specifically, if the first treatment will be performed with sanmite, and after 5-7 days nissorun will be applied. At 10-12 days after performing all treatments, to help the plant overcome the stress period, the use of a product such as biplantol vital ( Biplantol Vital NT, 250 ml ) may be considered. Dilute 20 ml of biplantol vital nt in 1 liter. Water for foliar application (spray on leaves). It is also important to note that hortensia plants develop well in shade and semi-shade. More information about hortensia can be found on our blog: Hortensia, planting guide and care work.

Recommended articlesALAna L.6 April 2022Hello! I would have a question too. I received a hortensia a few days ago. I keep her in the house. It is located by a window but the sun doesn’t shine directly on her at any time of the day. I water it with a classic spray directly on the leaves and flowers and after and on the ground. The problem is that it seems a bit wilted. The temperature in the house is always about 20-22 degrees. I haven’t changed the pot yet. I will attach pictures below.

Hello, the hydrangea has a mites attack. For control, depending on the evolution of the attack, it is recommended to apply 2-3 treatments, at intervals of 7-10 days with a biological insecticide, which has in its control spectrum mites, such as: Antario, 100 g. Dissolve 10 g / 10 l of water and apply by foliar spray. Also, before applying the treatment, it is recommended to wash the leaves lightly with water (to remove some of them as well as some of their eggs), then, after they dry, the treatment can be performed. A few days (approximately 10-12 days) after the end of the treatments, it is recommended to apply a fertilizer to help the regeneration of the plant, such as: Organic Plant Spray Tansy & Wormwood, 500 ml , applied directly by spraying. It supports the regeneration of plants after certain stress conditions, or if they have suffered pest attacks. It is important to mention that the fertilizer will not be sprayed on the buds or flowers, and the plants that have been sprayed should not be exposed to direct sunlight. More information is presented in the following article: Mites in ornamental plants - pest management.
