Yucca, information on care, transplanting and propagation
Hello. I got an old yucca from a neighbor who grew it in the semi-basement under a skylight. The plant has grown a lot towards the light and thus, has grown crooked. I brought it into the apartment (quite bright, near the window) but it doesn’t seem to have acclimatised very well. The leaves are curling, drooping and starting to fall off and the tips are drying out.
I’m thinking of moving it to a larger pot or cutting off the tips and replanting it in two smaller pots. Everywhere I’ve read, the recommendation is that all of this be done in the spring. Do I have to wait or can I do it now? Is there a treatment I should try to make sure it survives the winter? Thank youAttachments:

Hello. The leaf deterioration was most likely caused by one or more environmental and/or care factors: changing care conditions, possibly inadequate watering, draughts, temperature fluctuations, pot size, inadequate substrate, etc. In this case, it is recommended to maintain the environmental conditions constant and care for the plant according to its specific requirements (Yucca, plant care and growing guide). Also, it is recommended to remove the affected leaves and use a fertilizer that is specially formulated for the nutritional requirements of indoor plants, such as Interior Plants Organic Fertilizer, 350 ml, applied by watering, according to the recommendations on the label. Regarding the transplanting and propagation, it is recommended that these operations be carried out in spring, using a porous and aerated substrate such as Green Plants Professional Substrate, 10 litres. Immediately after transplanting, AMN BonaVita, 500 ml, which stimulates rooting, can be administered. Further, it is recommended to monitor the evolution of the plant for a while, and in case other symptoms appear or the ones mentioned above worsen, we are waiting for your message with photos.
