BiBianca25 December 20231 Wish green leaves
Yucca, drooping, yellowed leaves
Hello,
My yucca is dying and I don’t know how to help it. I should mention that it was transplanted in the summer and had no problems. The leaves started to fall off when autumn came. It has lost a lot of leaves and now they are starting to droop. What can I do?
Thanks for the answer!Attachments:

Hello. Please give us more details about the care of the plant: what is the atmospheric humidity, how do you water the plant, how much water do you use, what is the source of the water, the temperature of the watering water, tell us if the plant is near a heat source or in draughts, if the pot has water drainage holes, if you have carried out any treatments, if you notice any other symptoms on the leaves/plant such as fine webs, discoloration, spots, white fuzz or pests etc. If you notice other symptoms or pests, please send us focused photos of them.
BiBianca27 December 2023Humidity: 50-60%, sometimes even more than 60%, the plant is watered when the surface of the substrate is completely dry. I pour a little water on top, like 50-100 ml max. The plant is near the balcony door (it has been there since the beginning – 2 years), I have not carried out any treatment so far. On the leaves I have noticed some small black spots that can be cleaned (I don’t know what they are, I should mention that I have washed the leaves with soap and water). The pot has no drainage holes.
Most likely the symptoms on the leaves were caused due to water accumulated during the summer-winter period at the bottom of the pot, i.e. in the root area. In this case, it is recommended to transplant the yucca in a pot with water drainage holes, to use a substrate that allows water drainage (Cactacee Professional Substrate, 5 litres) and to use a fertilizer such as AMN BonaVita, 500 ml (applied by watering), which stimulates root development. More information on the plant’s care and transplanting can be found in our articles in the Armuro Community: Indoor plants - Repotting and Yucca, plant care and growing guide.
