Victoria plum tree affected by diseases
My Victoria plum tree, in Norway, was pestered last year with curling leaves and insekts everywhere.
This year the problems are much AS shown in the fotos. I doubt if any plums Will be edible this year. I intend to burn all. The question is How to avoid contamination next year.
Three years ago the harvest was great, no blemished frukt, then came a dry season with none followed AS I mentioned above. This tree is alone in our garden.
Can you give any advice? Thanking in advanceAttachments:

Hello. The fight against this disease requires rigorous cultural hygiene and the application of fungal treatments starting from the rest period and continuing in the vegetation. Affected fruits (fallen or left in the tree) are removed and destroyed by burning. It is very important that the affected branches be cut as soon as they are observed to be sick. The wounds on the trunk are cleaned to the healthy side.
It is very important to apply preventive treatments and to apply the treatments during the rest period. During the vegetation, treatments are made according to the phenophase.
One of the recommended products against brown rot during vegetation is Luna Experience, 10 ml. Apply only one treatment per season with a dose of 5 ml in 10 l of water.-

NKNorma K.18 April 2022Many thanks for your useful information. I will wait until the plums , if any survive, ripen before starting the “clean up”.
I can then decide whether to treat my tree or destroy it.
Regards,
