Hello. The slight deterioration of the palm was most likely caused by the constant high humidity in the substrate. To avoid aggravating the symptoms, we recommend transplanting the plant in an opaque pot (transparent pots are only suitable for Phalaenopsis orchids that also use their roots for photosynthesis), with water drainage holes, and using a substrate that is specially designed for decorative leafy plants (). After transplanting, it is recommended to apply a fertilizer such as (2-6 ml per 1l water), which stimulates the development of the roots and the growth of the plant. From spring onwards, you can consider fertilizing your palm regularly using , which should be administered according to the information on the product label. More information on the care of the plant can be found in our article in the Armuro Community: Palm trees, plant care and growing guide.
