Palm Tree, its leaves are getting more and more yellow :(
Hello,
I have had this cycas revoluta since spring, which I bought in a hypermarket and immediately transplanted it into the pot in the photo. It is placed 1.5 meters from the window. I have not changed its place since then, but in summer the spot is quite shaded, as there is a tree in front of the room, and the sun does not shine very much inside. For the first 2-3 months it was ok, watered weekly, or when I felt the soil was dry, now even less often. For about 2 months now, the leaves have started to turn increasingly yellow, from the base of the plant towards the center, the first row I even cut off when they dried out completely, about 3 weeks ago. But I see that it is still in bad shape, the rest of the leaves are in the same situation! The potting soil is a universal substrate for flowers. It doesn’t seem to have any pests or anything like that. Last week I read other people’s similar threads about this plant, and found out that it is a common problem with this species… and I ordered from you Terra-Sorb foliar and Amistar 10 ml… before using them (I would appreciate if you could guide me how to use them correctly for this palm), I decided however to post the pictures and ask your advice, with the request to help me save it!
Thanks in advance!Attachments:

Hello. Terra-Sorb Foliar, 100 ml is applied in a dose of 2-3 mL in one liter of water, and Amistar, 10 ml is applied in a dose of 8-10 mL per 10 liters of water. You can apply them together.

AnAnca5 January 2024Thank you!
Should the soil be changed too? With which type and in which season?AnAnca6 January 2024One more question: the way it looks now, is there any chance that it will grow new leaves?
Hello. The deterioration of the leaves may be caused by a combination of abiotic and biotic factors, such as low atmospheric humidity, inadequate watering, nutrient deficiencies and others, depending on the case.
As mold on the surface of the substrate is an indicator of high and/or constant humidity, it is recommended that watering be done moderately, with optimal amounts of liquid, only when the surface layer of the substrate is dry. This species tolerates a lack of water in the substrate for a certain period better than excessive moisture. Water should not stagnate at the base of the pot or in the tray.
As far as transplanting is concerned, you should bear in mind that this operation may cause additional stress to the plant. Therefore, it is recommended to proceed after the palm shows signs of improvement, following the general recommendations for transplanting described in our article: Indoor plants - Repotting. For the time being, given the existence of mold on the surface of the substrate, it is advisable to change the first few centimeters of substrate with a new, fresh one (e.g. Green Plants Professional Substrate, 10 litres).
Subsequently, it is important to ensure the optimal environmental conditions for this species (Palm trees, plant care and growing guide and Cycas revoluta, plant care and growing guide). Given the tropical origins of palm trees, they need a certain atmospheric humidity. Thus, regularly spraying the leaves and/or placing the pot on a tray with permanently moist gravel is essential for the normal development of the plant. The future development of the palm cannot be predicted (the viability of the central bud cannot be accurately determined on the basis of the attached photographs alone). The severely damaged leaves can be removed.-
