Outdoor ornamental plants, perforated leaves
Hello, I have noticed lately that several plants in my yard are having problems with perforated leaves or burnt edges. It happens to different varieties of hosta, hydrangea, rose, honeysuckle, English laurel.
Could it be a common disease?Attachments:

Hello. In order to be able to help you with a recommendation, please check the plants carefully (including the underside of the leaves) and let us know if you have noticed any pests (caterpillars, ladybugs, various larvae, slugs etc), then attach some photos of them (if there are any). Also, if you notice any spots/deposits on the leaves of the plants, please attach some photos of these as well.
PaPaul11 February 2024Sorry to return after such a long time. The condition of the plants is still very bad. All the plants in the garden display the same symptoms – the laurel, ivy, honeysuckle, rhododendron, photinia. I have never noticed any pests.
I’ll attach more pictures with the leaves.Attachments:

PaPaul12 February 2024PaPaul13 February 2024Hello. Considering the period we are in, it is recommended to remove all the leaves and parts of the plant that have deteriorated, as they will not recover. It is recommended to do this with well sharpened and disinfected tools (e.g. Power Pruner). Then, during this period you can consider carrying out 2 treatments, 7-10 days apart, with copper-containing fungicides such as Champ 77 WG, 20 g and Coppermax, 30 g. Both products are applied by foliar spraying in a dose of 20 g / 10 L water. Spray the solutions as finely as possible, so as to achieve an even distribution on the plant, both on the underside and topside of the leaves, as well as on shoots, branches and stems. It is advisable to prepare a volume of solution corresponding to a single treatment (respecting the mentioned dosage), because the already prepared mixture does not have a shelf life longer than 24 hours. More information on how to apply phytosanitary treatments in optimal conditions can be found in our article: Phytosanitary treatments - environmental and labor protection.
Starting in March, it is recommended to use a fertilizer that stimulates the expansion of roots and the healthy growth of plants, such as AMN Nordalge, 500 ml (by watering at the roots, as recommended in the product description). Additionally, 10-14 days after finishing the foliar fungicide treatments, a foliar fertilizer can be applied to stimulate the regeneration of plants after certain conditions of stress, such as Interior Plant Regeneration Ackerschachtelhalm RTU, 500 ml, according to the instructions in the product description. Afterwards, the application of the fertilizer can be continued regularly. In the future, it is essential to respect the proper environmental and care conditions for their vigorous and healthy growth (Cherry laurel, planting guide and care work, Ivy, plant care and growing guide, Lonicera, planting guide and care work, Rhododendron, planting guide and care work, Photinia x fraseri, planting guide and care work). In the following growing season, it is recommended to monitor the development of the plants. If you notice any symptoms of decline again, please return with clear, focused photographs and detailed information about the existing environmental conditions and about the care given to the plants.-
