      Mimosa pudica with mold

I read your articles because i have this white mold on the soil. Not so much on the stem, but about 10-15mm. Its soil is moist. I changed the soil 3, but it reappeared… Thank you very much, maybe you can help me!

Hello, the development of mold on the soil is often favoured by excessive moisture, especially if the plants are placed near a window (temperature difference between outside and inside the house maintaining a constant high humidity). We do not have a product against mold that grows on plants’ soil. Thus, it is recommended to remove the decorative material, and after, you can replace the soil surface with a fresh one and place the pot in a drier, ventilated place, protected from the mentioned conditions. Also, in winter, it is advisable to water the plants less often so the soil dries easily between waterings. Next, it is recommended to properly care for the mimosa according to the tips recommended in our article regarding Mimosa, plant care and growing guide.
