Mango, brown spots and white patches on the underside of the leaves
Hello,
I have a Mango tree that is about 1 year old and recently brown spots have started to appear on the leaves, leading to their drying. Looking carefully, I saw that whitish areas have appeared on their underside, like a powder or something that is a bit sticky.
The plant did not stay outside over the summer, just in a closed balcony where it had full light, but not direct sunlight.
Is it a pest, fungus or another type of disease?Attachments:

Hello! In order to help you with a recommendation, please attach more focused, clear, close-up photos of the whitish areas/possible pest you noticed and give us more information about the care of the plant (watering, humidity, temperature), whether or not treatments were carried out and any other details that may be relevant.
MaMagda22 January 2024The temperature in the house is around 20 degrees 80% of the time, now in winter being close to a heat source, maybe the temperature is 1 to 2 degrees higher. We water it depending on how fast the soil dries out, about once a week, and spray it daily with water.

Hello! Just from the attached photos it is not possible to make an exact identification of the cause of the leaf deterioration. For the time being, it is recommended to remove the damaged leaves, place the plant in a location away from direct heat sources (to prevent the leaves from drying out) and water moderately. You may also consider using an organic fertilizer such as AMN Nordalge, 500 ml, which supports plant growth and is applied by watering according to the information on its label. If pests or any other symptoms appear, we are waiting for your photos.
