Linden

Linden tree with slow growth

Hello, 10 years ago I planted two lindens in the yard. One of them developed very well but the other has a slow growth. Due to their location, they are exposed to the sun almost all day. As an idea, as we look at the trees in the pictures, we look to the west, and to the left is the south. Can you help me with some opinions/treatments about the little linden? Thank you!

Hello, I’m not used to watering them. We have not used any fertilizer and no signs of pests. I thought (regarding the smaller linden tree) that one of the large branches at the base of the tree should be cut, in order to allow its faster development.

Hello, in order to improve the quality of the soil, it is also recommended to administer a special fertilizer, which increases the microbial activity and intensifies the absorption processes at the level of the roots such as Organic Soil Activator, 350 ml. It is applied by watering in a dose of 100 ml/10 L of water, and the soil must be slightly loosened before application. During the growing season, starting with spring, it is indicated the periodic application of a special fertilizer for trees, which stimulates the development of the extraction capacity of nutrients from the soil such as AMN Trees, 500 ml, by watering.
