Kalanchoe Petero with faded flowers
My Kalanchoe Petro, for a short time, had very vibrant orange (or yellow, or red) flower petals. Now, they are faded and lightening to a white color. The rest of the plant looks healthy. Any input is appreciated.

Hello, in order to be able to help you with useful advice, please give us more information about the kalanchoe: how long ago did it bloom? Have you applied fertilizers? What are the environmental conditions (temperature, light, humidity) in the area where the plant is situated? How often and in what way is the watering carried out?

The kalanchoe was purchased about 3 weeks ago and it had the most amazing intense orange color. We brought it home, planted it in the ground. It received one small dose of diluted liquid fertilizer. It was likely overwatered a bit. My apologies, there’s plenty of things I may have done wrong. Does the lightning of the flowers occur anytime it’s unhappy for any/every reason? I guess I was thinking that the leaves lightning in that way was indicative of something specific. Thank you for your help.
Thank you for the information provided. Most likely the slight deterioration of the flowers was due to a combination of factors, including: changing environmental conditions (by purchasing the plant and bringing it home – Acclimatisation of indoor plants), inadequate humidity in the substrate (being a succulent plant, it tolerates lack of water better than excessive humidity), as well as repotting (as a rule, plants are not repotted immediately after purchase, and it is also advisable to do this after the end of the flowering period so as not to damage the flowers). More information is presented in the following article: Indoor plants - Repotting. At the moment, taking into account the aspects mentioned, it is recommended to regularly administer, by watering at the roots, a fertilizer rich in beneficial microorganisms, which has the role of stimulating root development, healthy growth, increased resistance as well as supporting the plant in overcoming periods of stress: AMN BonaVita, 500 ml. This should be done as recommended in the product description. Also, for more information on kalanchoe care, please see the following article: Kalanchoe, plant care and growing guide. Please keep an eye on the plant for a while. In case other symptoms appear or become more severe, we are waiting for your message with attached photos.
