Hello! Against ticks and mosquitoes, it is recommended to apply a broad-spectrum insecticide, such as , in a dose of 20 g/ 10 l water or , in a dose of 25 ml/ 5 l water. The solution is applied by spraying as close as possible to the base of the grass blade or to the surfaces. The solution obtained has a shelf life of 24 hours, so it is not recommended to keep it for longer. For an effective action against ticks, it is advisable to mow the grass at a height of 2-3 cm, otherwise the action of the insecticide is reduced.
If you want to use an insecticide with ovicidal effect you can use in a dose of 100ml/10l water. Most insecticides are contact insecticides and can affect all insects that come into contact with them, so for bee protection, it is recommended to apply them in the evening. After application, the insecticide should be allowed to work for a certain period of time (6 – 8 hours). More precisely, it should stay where it is applied and eliminate any pests that come into contact with it. During this period, no other non-target animals are allowed to enter the treated area.
