Hello! In order to help you with a recommendation, please provide us with more information: What are the environmental conditions (light, humidity)? When exactly did the symptoms start? How do you water it? How often do you water it and what volume of water do you use? Have you applied fertilizers or phytosanitary treatments? Also, please attach more close-up pictures of the pests, as well as some of the tree as a whole.
AnAndrei17 October 2023Hello! Against the pests on the leaves, it is recommended to carry out 1-2 treatments at 7-10 days intervals with broad-spectrum insecticides such as Deltasap 2.5 EC, 100 ml, in a dose of 5 ml/10 L water and Teppeki, 1.5 g (1.2g/10l water). The treatment should be combined with an adjuvant such as Break Thru S 240, 2 ml, in a dose of 2ml/10L, which increases the dispersion of the droplets on the surfaces and increases the wetting of the tree’s surface with the protective agents. The insecticides can be alternated at 7-day intervals and are applied by spraying (on both sides of the leaves and on the trunk). Considering the size of the tree, in order to ensure a more uniform distribution of the phytosanitary solutions on the whole plant, it is recommended to use a sprayer such as 475, to which a rod such as Carbon lance, 120-230 cm or Carbon lance, 120 cm is attached.
It is important to prepare a volume of solution corresponding to a single treatment (respecting the mentioned dosages), because the already prepared mixture has a shelf life of 24 hours.
As for the staining on the leaves’ edges, it was most probably caused by the intensity of the solar radiation, dry wind and high temperatures. In order to help the tree get through this stressful period, you can consider applying a specific fertilizer for this period such as Fertilizer 0-0-40 Azet HerbstKali, 2 kg. This fertilizer also increases the plant’s resistance to cold and frost.-
