Hello. I have some ivy plants in a pot, planted 3 months ago. They have grown beautifully so far but i noticed at the tip of some branches these growths. I don’t know if it’s a disease, a pest… Can you give me some advice please? Would it be better to cut these branches to not spread to the others? Or is some treatment needed? Thank you very much!
Hello. Those growings represent the aerial roots that help plants climb on supports. Therefore, it is not a cause for concern. Because they were recently planted, you can consider apply a natural fertilizer that improves the soil quality, supports root development, increasing plant resistance, such as AMN BonaVita, 500 ml. It can be administered by watering, in a dose of 50 ml / 10 l of water. It can be applied regularly, at 10-14 days intervals. For more information about ivy care, you can see our article (Ivy, plant care and growing guide).
