  I have a fig tree in the garden, received years ago from a villager. I do not know what variety it is, but I found that it is very sensitive to cold and the fruit ripens quite late (after September 15). The big problem is that as soon as the fruits show signs of ripening (they become softer) they are actually devoured by a very wide range of insects. The fact that the fruit begins to develop a hole also contributes to this, which allows the insects to enter. Can you recommend a method of protecting my fruit? I have attached some pictures to exemplify the situation. Thank you.

  Hello, unfortunately, there are no approved products for figs, and the fruits are almost ripe. At this time, only an Eco Trap Wasp wasp trap can be used, such as the Eco Trap Wasp wasp trap. Also, ladybugs feed on other insects (usually pests) and it is not advisable to eliminate them.
