Hello. Please send us more photos of the plant as a whole and details about its care. Please tell us if the plant is near a heat source, if you have fertilized or treated it, how you water the plant, what kind of water you use, how much water you use, etc. Also, please tell us if you notice any other symptoms of disease on the plant, such as: spots, deposits, dust, discoloration or pests (check carefully), if there are any, please attach more focused photos of them.
ElElena25 December 2023The plant is watered once a week with a small amount of water. It was placed by the window near the heating source (radiator). No pests can be seen. I fertilized it with a liquid fertilizer. I water it once a week.

Hello! From the pictures and the information provided, the symptoms that appeared can be caused by several factors: transplanting the plant, improper watering, placement near a heating source, lack of drainage holes (if any).
For the time being, it is recommended to remove the affected leaves, water the plant by submerging the pot in a container with water for about 30 minutes to allow the substrate to saturate, and to place the plant in a spot away from heat sources. (Indoor plant placement according to environmental factors). Also, if the pot does not have drainage holes, it is recommended to make them (to avoid stagnation of water at root level for a long period of time).
In order not to cause additional stress to the plant, it would be advisable not to transplant it again.
Next, to support the plant’s acclimatization and to stimulate rooting, it is recommended to use a natural fertilizer such as AMN BonaVita, 500 ml by watering the roots, as recommended on the label.
Also, these species prefer a higher environmental humidity. Therefore, you can regularly spray the leaves with lime-free water. More information on its care can also be found in our article: Dieffenbachia, plant care and growing guide.-
