Dieffenbachia infested with pests, its leaves are starting to dry out
I’ve had the plant for about 2 months, and now I’ve noticed that it has pests and the leaves are a little dry. What can I apply to control the pests?

Hello, from the photos you have inserted, the plant seems to be attacked by thrips (Thrips - pest management). Against these pests you can carry out 1-2 treatments, at intervals of 7-10 days between them, with the insecticide Vertimec 1.8 EC, 10 ml, in a dose of 5 ml/10 L water. To increase the effectiveness of the insecticide, it is recommended to add an adjuvant to the solution such as Break Thru S 240, 2 ml, in a dose of 2 ml/10 L.
Spray the mixture as finely as possible so that it is distributed evenly over the plant, both on the underside and topside of the leaves and on the stem. It is advisable to prepare a volume of solution corresponding to a single treatment (respecting the mentioned dosage), because the already prepared mixture does not have a shelf life longer than 24 hours. The treatments can also be applied to the other plants in the premises (if applicable).
To help the plant overcome this stressful period, 7-10 days after the end of the insecticide treatments, it is recommended to apply a foliar fertilizer such as Organic Spray for Indoor Plants Zimmerpflanzen, 500ml, which helps the plants to recover faster. More information on the care of this species can be found in this article in the Armuro Community: Dieffenbachia, plant care and growing guide.-
