Can kalanchoe be revived?
Hello! I have a kalanchoe plant and unfortunately it ended up looking like in the pictures, it was not cared for at all and it dried out and then I saw that mold appeared. I purchased today from you. Switch 62.5 WG 10g, amistar 10ml, bonsai and cacti fertilizer Kakteendunger 250 ml and organic spray Zimmerpflanzen. Please tell me very much the quantities and dilutions needed for it, at the instructions I found not only for one plant but for a ha… and also tell me if it is necessary to buy something else to save it.
Thank you!

Hello. The plant seems to be severely damaged at the moment and is unlikely to recover. However, if you consider that it still has a chance of regeneration, it is recommended to keep it in optimal growing conditions, as described in our articles: Kalanchoe, plant care and growing guide and Indoor plant placement according to environmental factors. As Kalanchoe grows best in full sun or bright indirect light, it is recommended to place it in bright places with temperatures between 20-24°C.
Watering should be done with small amounts of water, only by pouring water on the substrate (not on the leaves), at longer intervals (in winter only when the substrate is mostly dry). To stimulate regeneration, you can consider using the purchased fertilizer, specially formulated for the nutritional requirements of these plants: Kakteendunger Bonsai & Cacti Fertilizer, 250 ml. Considering the period we are in, it is applied only once, in a dose of 1 ml solution in 0.5 l water, with the next watering (after the substrate has mostly dried).
No signs of mold can be observed in the attached images. Applying measures in this way could cause additional stress to the plant.-

Hello and thank you for your reply! You can’t see the mold because I cut out those portions, but where it’s black there’s still some left. There was mold on the ground too. I would be grateful if you could tell me how to apply the fungicides as well. Thank you!

In the case of ornamentals, Amistar, 10 ml dissolves 10 ml/10 L water, Switch 62.5 WG, 10 g 8 g/10 L water, and is applied by spraying (Tech1) foliar (on leaves). It is important to prepare a volume of solution corresponding to a single treatment (respecting the mentioned dosage) because the mixture already prepared does not have a validity longer than 24 hours. If you want to apply both purchased fungicides, it is important to respect an interval of 7-10 days between treatments. Thus, if you will make the first treatment with Amistar, 10 ml, the treatment with Switch 62.5 WG, 10 g will be applied after 7-10 days.
