Fruit fly
Fruit flies are insects usually found in the kitchen. They are mainly attracted to fruits and easily perishable foods or fermented drinks. They have a high rate of reproduction, females can lay up to 500 eggs in a single clutch and hatch within 24 hours. Fruit flies can contaminate food with various pathogens. To prevent the emergence of these insects, it is recommended to store food in hermetically sealed premises, to check it regularly and to follow certain hygiene rules. The fight against them consists of using traps and specific solutions.
