Cyclamen is a genus of perennial, flowering plants comprising around 23 species native to the Asia Minor peninsula and North Africa. It has bushy foliage that develops from underground tubers. The flowers have a distinctive appearance as the petals grow upwards, but the plant rarely reblooms in pots.
