Banana tree
The banana tree (Musa spp.) is a genus of large, herbaceous plants belonging to the family Musaceae. It includes about 70 species of plants native to tropical Asia, Africa and Australia. The fruits ripen in summer and are edible. The banana tree is suitable for growing in the greenhouse, where it has sufficient space and a favourable atmosphere, but also in the apartment, as a decorative plant (under optimal environmental conditions).
